Welcome to The Sheep Counter, fellow insomniac.
If you’re not an insomniac, then please take your well-rested brain and fresh-faced body elsewhere. There’s nothing to see here and you’ll only make us all jealous.
My name’s Sally. I live in Hertfordshire, UK. I can’t even remember a time when I slept well. Maybe when I was a child. I’m now a fully grown insomniac.
This blog is my attempt to stick two fingers up to my sleep-depriving affliction. It’s a place for me to turn the wakeful hours into something positive.
If you’re looking for a miracle cure, I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong place (but do keep looking and let us know!) If you’re looking for a more light-hearted approach to insomnia then please stick around – it’s great to have you here. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on insomnia, details of the books and podcasts that are getting me through the small hours and anything else I think might be useful to other people who spend half the night awake.
I hope you enjoy reading my blog. I will look forward to reading your comments.
